I would like to say thank keeriann for her comment in this article because she compares between salary of Balkenende (Dutch MP) with the salary offered in that vacature. Talk about salary the position as public service as like Mr. Balkenende can not be compared with professional job. In the professional job, supply and demand has more influence. Political job as like a MP (minister president or prime minister) has an unique characteristic. it means there is only one in a country can be a MP. How big the salary is decided by Parliament. Uniqueness oh his position does not make his salary high.
